The breeding direction is centred on strong body colour, crisp white-wing contrast, careful test breeding and honest genetic tracking.
It is a selective hobby breeding project focused on quality, learning, record keeping and preserving beautiful budgie varieties.

Park Ridge Heritage Clearwing Budgies is a hobby aviary, but the birds we work with sit inside a much bigger Australian Heritage Clearwing story. We acknowledge Don Burke’s long-running budgie breeding and genetics work, including the Amethyst Clearwing direction, as an important part of that background.
Our role is to keep careful records, breed responsibly, and help visitors understand the birds we are working with.
